Cranberry Sweet N Sour Sauce

Hey everyone! The reason behind this appetizing recipe..... On an auspicious day of April 13, which is the Tamil New Year,  I was looking for mangoes to make the Mango Pachadi with jaggery on this auspicious day, but could not buy one. So I was trying to find a replacement for mangoes and  voilà  !  I found these cranberries in my freezer. Sans plus tarder, let's get to the recipe! All you need is 1 cup - fresh or frozen (You can buy fresh cranberries during the season and wash and pat dry them and freeze for later use) 1/2 cup - diced red onions (you can also use white onions) 2 to 3 tbsp - crushed jaggery (you can substitute it with brown sugar) 1 tsp - red chilli powder 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder 2 tbsp  - cooking oil ( I used canola oil) salt to taste For Seasoning- 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds 1/4 tsp - asafoetida  1- whole red chilli broken into 2 pieces a few curry leaves In a skillet, pour 2 tbsp oil and when the oil is hot, first put the must

FRUIT N NUT BREAKFAST MUFFINS

Hallo Meine Freunde, Today I am going to share a breakfast recipe, which will be a complete breakfast along with a glass of juice. These days, it is hard to go out and buy any grocery. So I am sharing a recipe that anyone can bake with the ingredients available at home. This recipe makes about 18 muffins. You will need 2 cups - Whole Wheat Flour 1 cup - Brown Sugar packed (you can also use white sugar if you do not have brown sugar) 3/4th cup- Canola Oil (you can also use vegetable oil) 2 cups - Apples peeled and shredded, approx. 2 apples 1 cup - Carrots, peeled and shredded approx 2 to 3 medium sized carrots 1/2 cups- chopped walnuts and whole raisins (you can add sliced almonds if you do not have walnuts handy) 1/4th cup - Milk 2 Brown Eggs 2 tsp - Baking Soda 2 tsp - Cinnamon powder 2 tsp - Vanilla Extract 1/2 tsp - Salt Now, pre-heat the oven to 350° F for about 15 minutes. VEGETABLE PEPPER RICE/ காய்கறி மிளகு சாதம்

BONJOUR MES AMIS/AMIES.. I am going to share a new recipe " Vegetable Pepper Rice", which is similar to VEGETABLE FRIED RICE, but with fewer ingredients.  Now-a-days, we are learning to cook with the minimal ingredients available at home. Usually, for preparing fried rice, we will use soy sauce and chilli sauce. But if you do not have it at home, don't worry! You can make this Pepper Rice, with the available vegetables. Black pepper powder, is said to be good for cold and cough  and has many other health benefits. For this recipe, you will need 1 1/2 cups Basmati rice 3 cups chopped fresh vegetables of your choice / frozen vegetables 1/4 cups spring onions / onion sprouts freshly ground pepper powder - 3 tbsp any cooking oil - 2 tbsp salt - as needed For the Rice-  Wash the rice and set aside. no need to soak. Then plug in a rice cooker, first add 1 tbsp olive oil, then 3 1/2 cups of water , 1/2 tsp salt and the washed rice.  For
