South Coast Chicken Curry

Along the south coast of India, coconut trees grow in abundance. Inspired by this, I’m naming this dish South Coast Chicken Curry , as it is made with rich, thick coconut milk. You can prepare this curry using coconut oil for an authentic coastal flavor, or ghee (clarified butter) if you prefer a deeper, more aromatic taste. Ginger Chicken Sukka/ Ginger Chicken Dry

  After a long time I am back with a bang with yet another chicken delicacy.  Ginger Chicken Dry recipe  ( makes 1 Serving / Cooking time 20 minutes) Chicken 100 gms/ 1/4 lb Fresh Ginger root - 1 inch piece peeled and grated  Onion - 1/2 cup chopped Green peppers - 1 tbsp finely chopped Curry leaves - a few leaves, torn Coriander powder - 1 tbsp Chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp Biryani masala powder - 1 tsp (check my recipe here ) Salt to taste Plain Yogurt - 2 tbsp Cooking oil - 2 tbsp ( I use canola oil) Wash the chicken pieces and marinate with the yogurt, salt and turmeric powder. Chicken Biryani - Home Style

  Hi friends, Today I am going to share a recipe for my home-style biryani.  This is not as easy and simple as my other biryani recipe Chicken Biryani Simple  . But it is not very difficult too. This recipe calls for a biryani masala powder, for which I have shared the recipe too below. Ingredients you need (makes for a family of 3 people) For the biryani masala powder: Cloves- 2 Cinnamon stick - 1 inch piece Cardamom - 2 Bay leaves - 1 big Star Anise - 1 Shahi Jeera / Black Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp Fennel Seeds / Sombu - 1 tsp Peppercorns - 5 to 6 Coriander Seeds - 1 tsp Dry Red Chillies - 2 or 3 (as per your taste) Salt - 1/4 tsp Grind all the above to a fine powder. you need not roast them dry or with oil. Healthy Stir Fry Chilli Chicken in a Gravy

  On a very chilly night, my son wanted to eat something really delicious chicken dish. Instead of going to  a restaurant, why not make something at home ? Oh yes! He asked for Chilli Chicken. It is the junkiest of all, but I chose to make it a little healthier version. I used lemon juice instead of vinegar and I did not deep fry the chicken pieces as it is done in restaurants. Everybody loves Kothu Parota and that too if it is Chicken Kothu Parota, then that's it. So, join me friends, in the preparation of Chicken Kothu Parota. Easy Chicken Sukka

This is a very simple to make and yummy dish, which kids will love. You will need : Chicken - 1 cup (cut into small pieces) Ginger , crushed - 1 tbsp Garlic , crushed - 1 tbsp Salt- as per taste Dhania Powder - 1 tbsp Chilli Powder - 1 tsp Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp 1. In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil, and put, ginger, garlic, chicken and saute together. 2. Add salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and dhania powder and saute well. 3. Keep the flame in simmer and 1/2 cup of water. 4. Let the chicken get cooked well. 5. Now, add a little garam masala and keep sauting, till all the water is gone. Pepper Chicken Fry

PEPPER CHICKEN FRY(DRY) This is a dry chicken item. It tastes so yummy, that even before serving, it will be all gone from the skillet itself  . All vegetarians - - - - don't get upset. You can try this recipe with potato, raw banana ,bitter gourd or egg plant. I have used chicken thighs. You can use breast pieces as well. Ingredients 1 : chicken thighs - 3 nos. Chicken Biryani Simple

CHICKEN BIRYANI SIMPLE This is an easy to make chicken biryani. Especially, this recipe does'nt use coconut milk, thus avoiding more calories. I have not used mint leaves in this recipe . I have used chicken thighs. You can use thighs or breast pieces. Chettinaattu Kozhi kuzhambu(chicken kuzhambu)

செட்டிநாட்டு கோழிக் குழம்பு This is a very simple chicken kuzhambu, which I learnt from my fa ther and my grandmother.  This includes easily availab le ingredients. It also doesn't contains coconut in the recipe. I have used chicken thighs (legs) for this recipe. But, yo u can use chicken breasts with bones, or whichever you like.  Al ways choose skinless chicken pieces, as far as possible. The skin contains fat.
