Pineapple Shrimp Fried rice

I personally like eating Thai food and also I love the plating in the restaurants. They use half of a pineapple and fill the fried rice in it. But I have presented in a bowl 😊. I made this dish because of my sudden craving for it.  This dish can prepared within an hour, start to finish.  The measurements I have given serves 2 people. Quinoa-Oats Pongal/Khichdi/Multigrain Porridge

  Hello readers, I am going to share the recipe for a healthier version of the traditional Pongal dish. It is a savory prepared for breakfast in South India. The original recipe is prepared with sona masoori rice and yellow moong dal. But now-a-days many people have started eating less carbs. So, I have used Quinoa and Oats with little rice in this recipe. Pan Pulao

This Pan Pulao is a vegan recipe. I have not used ghee, butter, milk or yogurt and have used coconut oil and coconut milk instead. It is a lightly spiced and easy to cook recipe, which will become your family's favorite meal. Now, quickly gather the below mentioned ingredients and begin... Black Rice Dessert / Kavani Arisi

Now-a-days many people have started eating healthy millets and different varieties of rice. This recipe is made from a very healthy rice variety. It is a deep purple-black colored rice called Black Rice or Forbidden Rice. In tamil, it is called kavani arisi. It is a good source of protein, fibre, iron and several antioxidants. This rice looks like in the picture below. Please remember that it has to be soaked overnight, before cooking. I am going to share a new recipe " Vegetable Pepper Rice", which is similar to VEGETABLE FRIED RICE, but with fewer ingredients.  Now-a-days, we are learning to cook with the minimal ingredients available at home. Usually, for preparing fried rice, we will use soy sauce and chilli sauce. But if you do not have it at home, don't worry! You can make this Pepper Rice, with the available vegetables. Black pepper powder, is said to be good for cold and cough  and has many other health benefits. Bell Pepper Biryani

Hi all, Today I tried a new variety rice and thought why not share with all of you... Bell peppers which come in dazzling shades of red, yellow and orange, contain carotenoid. My mom says we should eat rainbow colored vegetables at least 4 to 5 days a week. So, here comes my newly invented recipe.. COCONUT MILK PORRIDGE

COCONUT MILK PORRIDGE   Coconut Milk Porridge is a dish of Medicinal Value. There a very few ingredients for this dish. They contain medicinal qualities. The ingredients are:     Coconut - one 1/2 of a coconut   Raw rice/ Boiled Rice - 1/2 cup Fenugreek Seeds - 1tbsp     Garlic Cloves - 10 small (or) 6-7 large Procedure to prepare porridge 1. In a mixie, add the rice and the fenugreek seeds and grind for 1/2 a sec. the rice will broken , but not powdered. 2. In a pressure cooker or an electric rice cooker, add all other ingredients except coconut.   3. Add 3 cups of water and cook.   4. Take 1 cup of thick coconut milk from the coconut pieces. Sambhar Rice

This Sambhar Rice can be a very healthy meal for kids, who are picky. In this dish we can add any kind of vegetable except beetroot. If you can add green pepper or red pepper, it will definitely add a good taste to the dish. I have used carrot, peas, radish and potato. Let us see the method of preparation.
