Jangri

Hi viewers,  In this post, we are going to learn how to make Jangri. Jangri and Jalebi are different. Jangri is made from Urad Dal and  Jalebi is made from Maida. Ingredients needed : Urad Dal - 1 cup Rice Flour - 1 to 2 tbsp Kesar Colour - few drops Sugar - 2 cups Water - 1 cup Oil - for frying Ziploc Bag for piping the batter - 1 Method of Preparation : First , soak the Urad Dal in water for 1 hour in water. Drain the water and grind it into a smooth paste by adding water little by little. I made this batter in a wet grinder . The consistency of the batter is , if you take a little batter in your hand and drop it , it should fall like a string . * If the batter is too thick, it will be like vada batter and won't fall from the bag. * If it is too thin, the shape won't stay. In a pan, put the sugar and the water and make sugar syrup to one string consistency. When the  syrup is boiling, add a few drops of lime juice. T
