Creamy Fennel Bulb & Potato Soup

A steaming bowl of soup provides immediate warmth and a deep sense of nourishment that perfectly complements a cold night. I am here today with the perfect soup recipe! Recipe Card (serves 3 people) Fennel Bulb- 1 medium sized bulb ( washed and roughly cut into cubes) ( save the delicate dill-like fronds(grassy part) for garnishing ) Small red potatoes - 4 nos (peeled and cubed) Garlic pods - 3 large cloves (peeled ) Unsalted butter - 1 tbsp Salt 1 tsp Crushed peppercorns- 1 1/2 tsp Now we will make this soup in 4 easy steps 😊 Step 1: Heat a saucepan, and add in the butter. After the butter melts, add the garlic and the fennel bulb cubes and sauté for 2 minutes.  Step 2: Add the potatoes, salt and pepper along with 2 cups of water and cook until the anise cubes are tender.  Step 3: With the help of an immersion blender , blend to get as creamy texture. Moringa Twig Clear Soup ( முருங்கைக்காம்பு சூப் )

Today we will learn how to prepare a healthy soup with drumstick twigs. When we separate the leaves from the stem, I save the stem parts / twigs. I enjoyed this health drink prepared by my grandma and wanted to share the recipe with you too.  In the picture below, you will see that I have separated the leaves and also separated the small twigs from the stem. You have to discard the stem and only use the twigs. You can store the leaves in a dry container for a few days.    Now let's see how to prepare the healthy soup... Healthy Tomato Soup

Healthy Thick Tomato Soup This is a recipe apt for bachelors. For this soup, i have not used even a drop of oil. You can add few drops of ghee or butter if you wish, before you serve the soup. No need of seasoning. Ingredients : Tomato - 1 large Carrot - 1 medium Salt - as per taste Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp Preparation Method: 1. Cut the tomato into half , and put it in a pot. 2. Wash the carrot , peel off the skin and put in the pot. 3. Now, add 1 cup of water and cook the carrot and tomato for 10 minutes. 4. Let it cool and then, grind it into a paste in blender, by adding 1/2 cup of water. 5. Now, crush the jeera (cumin seeds) and sprinkle on the soup. 6. Add salt and pepper, and heat it for 2 minutes in microwave. The Soup is ready to serve. It will be a thick soup. This is an easy- to- make recipe and very healthy too.
