Wheat Flour Cookies

Hi friends! Today I am going to share my recipe of making simple wheat flour cookies. It is very simple and takes just 20 minutes to bake and enjoy with evening tea. You will need  Wheat Flour -1 cup Light brown sugar / naattu sarkarai - 1/2 cup Oil (any cooking oil which you use) - 1/2 cup Dash of salt Baking Powder - 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder / Vanilla extract- 1/4 tsp ( optional ) Pre-heat the oven to 310 ° F. Then, in a bowl, mix the sugar and oil for about 2 minutes continuously. If you are adding cardamom powder or vanilla extract, add it at this time. Now, sift the flour, baking powder and salt into this oil sugar mixture and combine it well to form a dough. Do not over mix. The correct consistency of the dough, you should be able to pull it apart, with your hands easily. சூஸ் பெரி பிஸ்கட் / Simple Cookies

Hi all, சூஸ் பெரி பிஸ்கட்  is my all time favorite cookie ever!! My dad used to buy this from a nearby store in my childhood. Recently, I had a sudden craving for this biscuit and thought of sharing the recipe in my blog. I am sure anyone from Chennai, South India would have tasted this yummy cookie. The store bought  coo kie  would be in the shape of a cube, but I have chosen to make it in different shapes. Let us see how to bake these simple and yummy cookies, which calls for only a few  ingredients.. All Purpose Flour -  2 cups Ghee + Oil - 1 cups Sugar - 1 1/2 cups Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp Salt - 1 pinch Now, in a bowl, sift the flour and mix all the dry ingredients. Now , add the oil + ghee mixture, little by little and make a dough. Set this aside for 1/2 hour to 1 hour.   Now, preheat the oven  to 310° F .
