Masala Idli

Hi readers I am posting in this blog after a very long time. I hope to write regularly hereafter... This recipe is a yummylicious for kids and adults as well. This is also an excellent way of using up the left over idlis. You can use fresh idlis or mini idlis in this recipe. Let's see what ingredients we need: Onion - 1 large Tomato - 1 medium Green chillies - as per your taste Salt - as needed Turmeric Powder -1/4 tsp Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp Curry leaves - few Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp washed and finely chopped Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tsp Urad Dal - 1/4 tsp Left over / fresh / mini idlis - cut into small pieces (do not cut if you are using mini idlis) Follow these simple steps to cook this recipe: In a pan, pour 1tbsp of your choice of cooking oil and when the oil is hot, add mustard seeds , urad dal, a pinch of asafoetida and curry leaves.
