Banana Chapathi

Hello Readers, Here comes my newly tried recipe "Banana Chapathis". Whenever there are left-over full ripe bananas, nobody likes to eat them, because of the black skin . In this case, I used to bake banana -nut muffins or banana bread. This time, I tried something which is very quick and easy to make . All you need  is Banana - 1 ripe Whole Wheat Flour - 1 cup Butter - 1 tbsp softened (optional) Mash the banana in a bowl. Now add the flour and the butter to the mashed banana and make a dough. You won't need to add water for making the dough, if you are adding butter. But if you don't add butter, at this stage add water by spoon , if needed and make the dough. Now, roll them into chapathis and cook on both sides on the tawa. Just rub an oil dipped spoon on both sides of the chapathi and take it off the tawa (pan). Banana chapathis are ready to eat. Beans Poriyal / Beans Paratha

We all know that kids don't want to eat any vegetables. The recipes I am goin to give in this post can be used for the adults  and the kids too. I am going to give 2 recipies combined in this post. Both recipes uses Green Beans  as the main ingredient. Beans Poriyal and Beans Paratha  Ingredients for Beans Poriayal (for adults) Green Beans - 1 lb , washed and cut into 1/4 inch pieces Onion - 1 medium Curry leaves Mustard Seeds Urad Dal Cumin Seeds Chilli powder - 1 tsp or as per taste Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp Salt - as per taste Pottukkadalai Powder (fried gram dal) - 1 tbsp Preparation : 1. Cook the beans in a pan using water and little salt. 2. Now, take 1/4 cup of the cooked beans and keep aside. 3. In a pan, heat 1 tsp cooking oil. 4. Beet Wheat Tortillas (Beetroot Tortillas)

This is a Kids Special dish. All parents especially mothers have a tough time feeding vegetables to their kids. So here is an easy way to give them beetroot , without the kids knowing what they are eating. Ingredients -  Beetroot - 1/4 of a medium beetroot chopped  Wheat Flour - 1/2 cup Salt to taste Jeera - 1/2 tsp chilli powder - 1 pinch Oil or ghee - 1 tsp 1. Pressure cook the chopped beetroot along with salt , turmeric and chilli powder and little water. 2.  Now, in  mixing bowl, take the wheat flour with little salt, mix well. 3. Make a puree of the cooked beetroot,or just mash it with a laddle nicely. 4. Add this to the flour and make a dough.  5. Finally coat the dough with ghee or oil and leave aside for 10 minutes. 6.
