Healthy Thick Tomato Soup
This is a recipe apt for bachelors.
For this soup, i have not used even a drop of oil. You can add few drops of ghee or butter if you wish, before you serve the soup. No need of seasoning.
Ingredients :
Tomato - 1 large
Carrot - 1 medium
Salt - as per taste
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Preparation Method:
1. Cut the tomato into half , and put it in a pot.
2. Wash the carrot , peel off the skin and put in the pot.
3. Now, add 1 cup of water and cook the carrot and tomato for 10 minutes.
4. Let it cool and then, grind it into a paste in blender, by adding 1/2 cup of
water.
5. Now, crush the jeera (cumin seeds) and sprinkle on the soup.
6. Add salt and pepper, and heat it for 2 minutes in microwave.
The Soup is ready to serve. It will be a thick soup.
