Besan Ki Burfi
Its Diwali and the season of Sweets .
Lets learn how to prepare Besan Burfi.
Ingredients :
Gram flour - 1/2 cup
Sugar- 1/2 cup
Ghee / Oil or Ghee + Oil = 1/2 cup or less
Water - 1/4 cup
1. In a thick bottommed pan, add the sugar and water and let it melt.
2. Now, when the bubbles form like a froth, add the sifted besan into it.
3. Keep mixing rapidly to avoid lumps.
4. Add hot oil / ghee little by little and keep mixing.
5. When bubbles form and mixture leaves the pan without sticking,
pour it onto a greased plate or plate wrapped with aluminium foil.
6. Cut into desired shaped pieces when it is still warm.
