Thiruvaiyaaru Asoka is a sweet dish. The main ingredient is Maida (All Purpose Flour ).Let us prepare and enjoy this yummy sweet.
Ingredients:
Maida (All Purpose Flour) - 1 cup
Sugar - 2 cups
Ghee - 1 cup
Hot water - 1 1/2 cups
Cashew Nuts, Raisins - few
Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
Red Food colour - a dash
Preparation Method:
1. Heat ghee in a pan and fry the nuts and raisins. Keep aside.
2. In that ghee itself, add the maida and fry it.
3. Then, add the hot water and mix the maida well, without any lumps.
4. Now, add sugar and mix well.
5. At this stage, add the fried nuts, food colour and cardamom powder and mix well.
6. After ghee separates from the corners, it is ready to serve.
Note :
Reduce the quantity of sugar and ghee according to your taste and wish.
