Healthy Tomato Soup

Healthy Thick Tomato Soup This is a recipe apt for bachelors. For this soup, i have not used even a drop of oil. You can add few drops of ghee or butter if you wish, before you serve the soup. No need of seasoning. Ingredients : Tomato - 1 large Carrot - 1 medium Salt - as per taste Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp Preparation Method: 1. Cut the tomato into half , and put it in a pot. 2. Wash the carrot , peel off the skin and put in the pot. 3. Now, add 1 cup of water and cook the carrot and tomato for 10 minutes. 4. Let it cool and then, grind it into a paste in blender, by adding 1/2 cup of water. 5. Now, crush the jeera (cumin seeds) and sprinkle on the soup. 6. Add salt and pepper, and heat it for 2 minutes in microwave. The Soup is ready to serve. It will be a thick soup. This is an easy- to- make recipe and very healthy too.

Chettinaad Muttai Kuzhambu (Egg in tamarind gravy ) This is another delicious chettinaad kuzhambu. This recipe uses a special powder for the chettinaad flavour. Guess what... keep guessing.... Ingredients : Eggs - 4 Onions- 1 medium Tomato - 1 medium Garlic pods - 5 to 6 Tamarind- 1 lemon size Dhania powder - 3 tbsp Chilli powder - 11/2 tbsp Turmeric powder - 1 tsp Salt - as per taste To season: Mustard seeds - 1 tsp Methi seeds - 1 tsp Kadalai paruppu - 1 tbsp Fennel Seeds - 1 tsp Asafoetida powder - 2 pinches Secret Powder : Mustard seeds - 2 tbsp Fennel Seeds - 1 tbsp 1. Take the mustard seeds and fennel seeds and make a fine dry powder. Keep aside.      Soak the tamarind in a little water.Keep aside. 2. Hard boil the eggs and remove the skin. Dear viewers , Beans chops kuzhambu is now available for all of you. This dish looks like a gravy... But, i havent added coconut in this recipe. So,are you wondering how ???? Let's see the recipe........... Ingredients : Beans - 1 cup (chopped into 1inch pieces , cooked separately with salt) Jeera - 1 tsp Garlic - 6 flakes Cinnamon - 1 inch piece Cloves - 4 nos. Onion - 2 Tomato - 4 Dhania powder - 2 tbsp Chilli powder - 1 tbsp Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp Oil - 2 tbsp Procedure: 1. Grind jeera and garlic into a paste and keep separately. 2. Grind the Onion and tomato into a fine paste , keep aside. 3. In a skillet, heat 2 tbsp of oil , put cinnamon and cloves and saute. 4.
